No PAPA

I originally wrote something longer, but decided that there was no reason for it. So in short, I will not be at PAPA this year, and probably not for a long time to come. The reasons are personal and not right to get into publically. I'm not at all giving up on pinball though, and will be at the Pinball Expo this month. I at some point am going to try to get the league back up and running, though that's probably not for a while to come.

First 9/11 party: little, but just as happy

There's something to the irony of the fact that the year that I decide that the best way to move on from a disaster is celebration I wind up having a parade of my own. I've had little energy to promote celebrateon911.com, and even to the extent that I was able to, I have to admit that it seems that quite a lot of people simply didn't get the idea.

That doesn't mean that I've lost faith or that I don't believe in it. But this first time through, it appears that a humble beginning is in order. So we're taking it to the South Side.

Kristen and I invite anyone who wants to join to a celebration at the Lava Lounge on East Carson St. near the 21st Street bridge. No agenda other than a good time for the sake of a good time, and the gooder everyone can make it the better.

We'll be there probably around 8, more or less depending on my work schedule (hoping to get the day off, but undecided yet). Hope to see everyone who can make it.

Last move?

With any luck this will be my last move for a while. I can't say for certain, but so far from what I've seen InsaneJournal isn't likely to kneel before the censorial control freaks. Hopefully more to come soon.
